Pamela Wilson a retired public-school Assistant Superintendent who served thirty-six wonderful years as an educator. Within her career, Pamela has worked as an English teacher, school site administrator and district administrator.
During the last twelve years of her public-school service, she led in the areas of Curriculum and Instruction and Human Resources. In both divisions Pamela had the opportunity to make policy recommendations to the Board of Education which were designed to insure positive learning outcomes for all students and provide positive working environments for all employees. Pamela has facilitated trainings in equitable practices, mostly notably: Equity Initiative-Murrieta Valley Unified School District; The Continuous Improvement Process-California School Dashboard and most notably, as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, She has led her district and division through the transformational period to embrace Local Control and Accountability as well as an understanding of the new Local Control Funding Formula.
Pamela Wilson is an Equity Warrior and believes as an educator our primary responsibility is to meet the individual and collective needs of all students. She believes that school leaders are to provide the resources, professional development and personal example to inspire teachers to do their personal best each and every day.
Pamela Wilson has received numerous awards and recognitions acknowledging her work of equitable practices, to name a few: ACSA Region XIX Administrator of the Year Valuing Diversity, ACSA Statewide Administrator of the Year Valuing Diversity and California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators Statewide Leadership Recognition.
