Culturally Responsive Teaching Workshops

Every student brings a unique cultural background to school. Each of these students struggle to handle the conflicting cultures between home and school. Thus, it is important to recognize the importance of including students’ cultural references in all aspects of learning. To make the students feel loved and acknowledged. As an educator, it is our role to help bridge these diverse cultures and create a community where ALL students have an educational experience that validates, celebrates, and affirms their individual differences.

Each session in this virtual series of workshops is designed as a full training day. The consultants will serve as facilitators to provide tools and activities that can be used in multiple environments. This series supports educators in the practical application of Culturally Responsive Pedagogy. There are a total of 5 workshops. The first two are for all educators while the final three are content specific.
