Candace Pinn is a consultant with Progression Partners and joined the team in 2021. She facilitates professional learning about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Culturally Responsive Education, inclusive curriculum and teaching. She has 25+ years of experience in early childhood education and has served in many leadership roles over her career; staff developer/trainer, chairperson/representative of district-wide committees, mentor teacher/teacher leader and union representative. As President of the Westchester Alliance of Black School Educators organizing educational trips and DEI events, advocating for inclusive curriculum with the New York State Education Department, attracting new members county-wide, creating alliances with community partners to support college bound high school seniors, Candace looks for opportunities to educate and collaborate across differences. An active member of her Westchester NY community, a leader and an influencer, Candace brings to her role, as consultant with Progression Partners, a clarity of purpose and the ability to bring people together to see the world through the eyes of others, a gift of DEI!
